Introduction to my 'DIY/How To' blog.

Do you ever wish you could build, modify, or repair things without the direct assistance of experts or professionals?  Or do you ever want to learn how to do something using a simple and easy guide to follow? Then this is DEFINITELY the blog for you to read! We all spend ridiculous amounts of money on things that are actually simple to build or make, or spend hours at a time trying to learn something, either using the internet or other resources. This blog will not only include instructions and guides, but videos and photos as well.

My first DIY Post - Non- Toxic Nail Polish Remover

Regular store-bought nail polish remover is horrible for your skin, they irritate your eyes, nose and throat. I found a substitute that will get the job done without those horrible toxins! You will only need three ingredients, vinegar, lemon juice, water and a nail file to file off any excess polish. This method will take longer because they are natural products, but anything you are doing is worth doing right! The acid from vinegar will help break down nail polish.

* Fill a bowl half part vinegar, half part lemon juice and soak cotton balls in the mixture.
* Fill a bowl with warm water and soak your nails in it for ten minutes to soften the polish.
* Use the cotton balls that have been soaking in the vinegar/lemon juice mixture and work the polish off of your nails.
* Carefully use a nail file to file any stubborn polish off.
